Conditions that affect the structure and function of the fingers, hand and wrist -- including repetitive motion conditions, complex hand problems and follow-up treatment for traumatic injuries -- are treated at the Hand and Upper Extremity Center at Northwest Hospital. The center's specialized team includes orthopedic and plastic surgeons, occupational therapists and registered nurses who take a multidisciplinary approach to restoring or preserving hand function for daily living. State-of-the-art diagnostics and rehabilitative services along with surgical techniques and other advanced therapies are utilized.

State-of-the-art diagnostic imaging equipment allows the radiologist and the hand surgeon to view images of your hand quickly and to begin treatment as soon as possible.

The Hand and Upper Extremity Center team works to restore range of motion, decrease pain and increase strength.
